This course is designed to introduce students to the area of international and cross-cultural management.  By learning about the dilemmas and opportunities that are presented in international and multi-cultural work environments, students will be better able to function in an increasingly global business world.  The goal of this course is to convey to students a way of thinking that increases their ability to understand the influence of crossing national and cultural boundaries on organizations and on organizational practices.  Special emphasis will be placed on the management of people and groups in international organizations.  The focus of the course, as opposed to being country specific, is on the interaction between people in international work settings.
