This course is designed to introduce students to the area of international human resource management. The goal of this course is to convey to students a way of thinking that increases their ability to understand the issues involved in managing human assets in an international and multi-cultural context. Special emphasis will be placed the relationship between the strategic management of the firm and human resource policies and practices. The focus of the course, is on the management of human resources in multinational firms and a comparison of HRM across countries.
